Amazon adds Pakistan in its Approved Sellers’ List – Soon to start operations in the country

The U.S. based e-commerce giant Amazon has finally planned to add Pakistan to its approved list of sellers. With this development, the users from Pakistan will now officially be able to create seller accounts on the platform and sell globally.

According to Abdul Razak Dawood – the adviser to Prime Minister Imran Khan, said: “We have finally made it.” He further added, “An important milestone of e-Commerce policy achieved has been through teamwork by many people across the globe.”

Dawood revealed in a tweet about the development saying that they have been engaged with Amazon since last year and now it’s going to be a great opportunity for the youth in the country as well as SMEs and women entrepreneurs.

Imran Khan – Prime Minister Pakistan, has also expressed that it’s a great development as Amazon has approved our sellers to export their goods and products on the platform.

This is not like a local market where you will sell anything and keep selling even if the customers have complaints. The sellers will need to assure they provide quality products because if they don’t they will be kicked out of the market. More the stars you get in feedback from the customers is better. Or if most of the sellers get bad feedback it may also impact the listing of the country as approved sellers. Sellers need to be more responsible than they ever have been used to.
