Infinix is widely known to be a budget-friendly smartphone manufacturer originated from China. The company started the consumer business in Africa and South Asia and later has expanded to the Middle East and South America. The company, after introducing Android-based TVs, has now entered the laptop market this year.
Infinix INBook X1 is the first laptop series by the company with three variants powered by Intel Core i3, Core i5 and the Core i7 with the latter named as INBook X1 Pro. The aim of the company was to provide high-end laptop machines within the budget, just like they had provided the higher-performing Android smartphones at lower price tags.
What really surprised me was the fact that the company provided the 10th generation Intel Core i-series processors with Windows 10 pre-loaded. The company is currently offering the three variants respectively for Rs. 80,000, Rs. 99,900, and Rs. 138,000. Respective memory configurations are 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD in the cheaper variant, 8GB RAM + 512GB SSD in the middle one, and 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD in the top model.
I ordered the top variant last month – the INBook X1 Pro with the Core i7, after when it started shipping Pakistan. I spent around 2 weeks or a little more with the laptop and I have enough to tell about everything customers really need to know before they make their mind to buy this amazingly and nicely built little machine. Don’t go with this first impression, I still have a lot to tell that you may not like. All three variants share some elements but I’ll note where they differ throughout this review.

10th generation processors are of course older than the newer 11th gen but still, they are the way to go for such a price tag. However, do they really worth buying for your regular job?
