Tecno today launched its first-ever Gimbal Camera phone in Pakistan – Camon 18 Premie with the two cheaper variants. The newly launched Camon 18 series consists of three phones, Camon 18 Premier, Camon 18P, and Camon 18t. The phones are available in both online and offline markets for sale starting today.
The premium device among the series, Camon 18 features a gimbal camera and 60X Hyper Zoom with a 64MP main camera and a 32MP front camera. The Camon 18P and Camon 18T support a 48MP main shooter. The interesting difference is the 16MP selfie camera with the middle tier Camon 18P while the 48MP selfie camera with the least expensive Camon 18T.
The Camon 18 Premier features a 6.7-inch large screen and an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen offers 1080p Full HD+ resolution. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 processor, the phone offers 256GB of internal storage and 8 gigs of RAM.
The most expensive variant of the series comes with a 64MP main camera among a triple camera setup. The phone features gimbal based stabilization and a telephoto periscope lens with 5x optical zoom (125mm-equivalent). With an additional 12x digital zoom, the camera allows taking shots at 60x hyper zoom when combined with the optical 5x zoomed image data.
Running Android 11 operating system under the hood, the Camon 18 Premier features the proprietary HiOS UX/UI. The phone packs with a 4750 mAh battery and supports 33-watt fast charging.
The retail price of the Camon 18 Premier is PKR 55,999 and is available in two colour options, Summer Breeze, and Ocean Moonlight.
The Camon 18P features a 6.8-inch large screen and an IPS display and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen offers Full HD+ resolution of 1080x2460px. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 processor with a memory configuration of 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM.
The new Camon 18P comes with a 48MP triple camera setup and a 16MP front camera. This middle man also runs the Android 11 operating system the proprietary HiOS UX/UI. The phone packs with a 5000 mAh battery and also support 33-watt fast charging.
The retail price of the Camon 18P is PKR 34,999 and is available in three colour options, Iris purple, Dusk Gray, and Ceramic White.
The Camon 18T also features a 6.8-inch screen and an IPS display but no 120Hz refresh rate. The screen still offers Full HD+ resolution of 1080x2460px. However, the 18T is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor. This phone comes with 128GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM.
This is the least expensive variant among the latest Camon series but offers a 48MP front camera, a higher resolution than the 18 Premier and the 18P models. The Camon 18T also sports a 48MP back camera among a triple camera setup.
The Camon 18T also runs the Android 11 operating system the proprietary HiOS UX/UI. The phone packs with a 5000 mAh battery but support only 18-watt fast charging.
