Infinix has launched its second-in-line of laptops, the new INBook X2. It’s a 14-inch laptop with aluminium alloy-build in a thin and lightweight body. The laptop is powered by Intel’s 10th generation CPUs. The INBook X2 is light enough to weigh only 1.24kg, while on the thickest point it’s just 14.8mm thin with a 14-inch display screen.
The 14-inch screen comes with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels around and 16:9 aspect ratio and 300 nits brightness. There is a 720p HD web camera on top of the display with a dual-light.
The INBook X2 offers three 10th generation Intel CPU options – Core i7, Core i5 and Core i3. RAM options are 8GB or 16 GB while the storage options are 256GB or 512GB. The RAM is soldered on the board and can not be upgraded, however, the storage is NVMe PCI 3.0 SSD in M.2 form factor.
If we follow the last year’s X1 Pro’s configuration, it could be Core i7/16GB/512GB, Core i5/8GB/512GB, Core i3/8GB/256GB. However, as appeared in notebookcheck review, there could be more configuration options such as a Core i7 variant with 8GB RAM.

Considering the budget segment, none of the X2 laptops carries dedicated graphics. Core i3 and Core i5 will feature integrated Intel UHD graphics while the top of the line Core i7 variant will feature better onboard Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7.
The laptop offers a 50Wh non-removable battery and comes with a bundled 45W USB-C power adapter. According to the company’s claim, the laptop can offer you up to 9 hours of mixed usage on a single charge and 11 hours of web browsing.
The new X2 laptop comes with a pre-installed Windows 11 Home. Unlike the original X1 Pro laptop of last year, the new X2 laptop does not feature a fingerprint sensor.
Talking about ports, the X2 laptop offers two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, a standard HDMI connector, a micro SD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Infinix INBook X2 costs $399 (or PKR ~71,000) for the Core i3 variant. The Core i5 variant will cost $549 (or PKR ~97,000) and the top-tier variant with Core i7 will cost $649 (or PKR ~115,000).
The new INBook X2 laptop comes in four colour options that include grey, red, blue, and green. The laptop will first hit the markets in Indonesia, Thailand, and Egypt. The company may launch the laptop in other Asian markets at later dates, however, no dates were disclosed for any region.
