Huawei Mate 8, after staying in speculations, finally went on sale in China earlier this month. While the high-end smartphone is still in rumors to make its appearance somewhere out of China – more specifically in US in early 2016 as the most recent update suggests that the Mate 8 will appear at the upcoming Consumer Electronic Show.
Throughout the year 2015, Huawei has established itself as a strong contender in the smartphones market against top manufacturers. With the launches of high-end smartphones such as Huawei P8, Mate 7, Mate S, and famous Honor Series Huawei has actually shown its capability to produce high-end smartphones as well as attract consumers for their competitive prices. It’s 6″ phablet with around 78% screen to body ratio serving at FHD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
Honor 5x (aka Glory Play) costs only CNY 999 (approx. USD 155 or PKR 16,000/-) and CNY 1399 in China (approx. USD 215 or PKR 23,000/-) for 2GB and 3GB variants respectively.
Mate 8 is currently selling in China from CNY 2,999 (approx. USD 462 or PKR 48,000/-) for 32GB variants and CNY 4,399 (approx. USD 680 or PKR 71,000/-) for 128GB variants. 64GB variants cost CNY 3,699 (approx. USD 570 or PKR 60,000/-) There is another most expensive variant named “Monarch edition” which costs CNY 6888 (approx. USD 1060 or PKR 1,10,000/-)
