Nokia heading to release MeeGo Harmattan 1.2 beta aka PR1.2 for developers
Nokia has recently shared a news about MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan 1.2 beta developer update that will be released shortly to the developers with Nokia N950 (Developer’s device.) This early release is supposed to be giving developers some time to test their applications and verify they work flawlessly on the new version of the platform. This shows somewhere to assume that alpha release for Nokia N9 users is also near and coming after wards.

The first public version of Nokia Link was released a few months ago which initially was released for Windows 7 and MAC OS X 10.6 and 10.7. Nokia Beta Labs has now released a newer version of Nokia Link which will work on Windows XP and Windows Vista. Angry Birds is now available for Nokia N9 with all its 288 levels.
An augmented reality based app for Symbian, “Nokia Live View” has turned to be run on MeeGo powered Nokia N9. The developers at Nokia Beta Labs have developed another Qt version of the application specifically for Nokia N9 which will support all the features that are currently supported by the version for Symbian devices.
We already have reported yesterday about the official launch event of Nokia N9 in Pakistan. Now here are the key details of the event and pictures added at the end. The event was held at a local hotel and gathered top-notch technology enthusiasts from across Pakistan.
It’s really great whatever it is, a fixed relation or just a coincidence. Today Nokia Pakistan launched Nokia N9 officially in Pakistan – the event held in Karachi. Henri Mattila from Nokia himself launched the Nokia N9 along with introducing the white variant of Nokia N9 at the event. While on the other side, via Nokia Conversations, Nokia officially announced that the White Nokia N9 has started shipping.

New Dropian mobile application by knobtviker is based on Qt platform and is now available for Symbian^3, Symbian Anna, and Symbian Belle as well as for MeeGo. A version specially compiled on Qt 4.6.3 is also available for Series 60 5th and 3rd edition devices. 
Ufone is going to promote the beautiful Nokia N9 in Pakistan. However Nokia N9 has already been available in markets officially. I am not sure what purpose Ufone will serve for Nokia N9 now. Probably a lower price tag and a few promotional gifts?
