In the above demonstration the import was made from the old classic blogger to an old version of wordpress. But you can follow the same instructions to import your posts from the New Blogger to the New version of WordPress.
There is no difference in wordpress instructions in the later versions of wordpress. Do the same as demonstrated

- In new blogger you will not see a tab Template in your dashboard. but a new tab Layout will be there and an option under it will be the Edit HTML (the alternative of the old tab ‘Template’).
TIP: if you purely want to obsolete your old blog under blogger and want to make your new wordpress site live then just put a Redirect URL under your blogger blog by editing HTML Code
