I recently found that some very new users of Nokia N8. Who newly purchased Nokia N8, were complaining about the bad results of photos/pictures taken by their Nokia N8, specially when shooting indoor with Flash. In short to the problem and solution, the issue is not actually with the device itself but it’s the protective film applied on the camera. A single protective film applied both on the Lens and the Flash actually causes the glare on the pictures when you take pictures with Flash turned on. The protective film actually absorbs the flash light inside it which interferes right on the time when the pictures are shot.
So the simple solution is that you have to take the protective film off the camera on back. And try again.
Just for your reference to differentiate the results I am just posting the pictures below taken with both the protective film on and then taking it off.

Hey! I just bought this N8 and the first thing I tried is taking pictures in home. They were coming as bad as I was just like hating it due to false advertisement of Nokia N8 camera. but now I tried after removing the protective film and it's really the other side of the camera result. Before it was like dead...

Hi..Thanks for the fix it worked for me. I was so annoyed because of those foggy pics coming because of flash. Now i'm loving it :-)
