Well before going on I must tell you that this app is really crap for me in my Nokia N8, but I got nothing after waking up this early morning and then visited Facbook Mobile Website on my phone to check what everyone else is doing and saw the link in bottom saying. “Download Facebook for your Nokia” and so I am writing about it.
If you have noticed this link usually used to say some thing like “Download Facebook Bookmark for your Nokia”. That actually installs a bookmark in your Applications folder to launch web browser initially loading Facebook Touch website. But this time it’s not saying to download a bookmark. Instead it was saying download facebook. I hit the link and installation started as shown above.
Here are the screens of the app after installation.
This is the same *crap*(Yes I don’t like it) java app which Snaptu was giving as a facebook module within the Snaptu app. But I noticed one new feature in this dedicated facebook app to find/add new facebook friends and invite your contacts to join you on facebook which was not present in the Facebook module within Snaptu.
As I already have mentioned about my opinion for this app. I’ll recommend to use the Facebook’s new Touch website instead of this Application. However the app was already having a good design similar to the ones in iOS and Android but it’s not exactly like that. It’s created in Java to reach most of the users in the world with low-end devices. Hence the performance of this app in a Symbian a phone is really poor and in Symbian^3 it’s awful. But you can give it a try.
