Ovi Suite Beta 3.1.1.40 brings direct download and installation

After a long time Ovi Suite comes with very appreciative features like downloading and installing ovi store apps/games/themes and other content right from the Ovi Store while the device is connected. To find out about more features and changes read below.

You need to sign in to you your Nokia Account on Ovi Suite.

 

Once Ovi Store has downloaded the application, it will be transfered to your device and you need to complete installation on your device. Not bad at all.

The new features in Nokia Ovi Suite 3.1.1.40 Beta

With the latest version of Nokia Ovi Suite, we bring you :

• The direct download and installation of free Ovi Store apps, games, and more from the Nokia Ovi Suite home view to your connected phone. Just sign in first with Nokia account.
• A simplified Maps view. You can instantly see which maps you have on your phone.
• Support for quicker and smaller Nokia Ovi Suite updates (patch support). For example, Nokia Ovi Suite can be updated from the Nokia Ovi Suite 3.1.1.40 release to Nokia Ovi Suite 3.1.1.50 with an update package that is considerably smaller in size. Updating naturally takes place more swiftly. Major updates to Nokia Ovi Suite, like updating Nokia Ovi Suite 3.1.1.40 to Nokia Ovi Suite 3.2.0.50 still require the download of the full update package.
• Lots of error corrections. For example, over 30 crash errors have been fixed in this release.
