wi-tribe, one of the WiMax internet broadband providers in Pakistan, has just outrun its competitors while offering a free internet connection for one month on the purchase of any of the leading Android tablets, HTC Flyer, Dell Streak5 and Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000.

 

 

In a press release, wi-tribe has announced the offer with exclamatory remarks

This offer adds value to the experience of existing as well as potential customers through a bundled package of a free wi-fi connection coupled with one month of browsing, absolutely free.

The prices of the devices from wi-tribe are not exactly up to my understandings as I found one device cheaper in the market and the other one is being offered in less price from wi-tribe.

This could be a marketing strategy? or what?

What do you think of these offers of providing free internet with a purchase of device now shifting from mobile operators to the broadband services providers?
Mobile Operators have already been providing free GPRS/EDGE for 6 or 3 months bundled with an offering device purchase. A few low-end and high-end smartphone/tablet offers are listed below

But at the end, it’s good for consumers. These initiatives create competition span between the service providers which finally goes in the favor of the end users.
