So it’s not Nokia 900, it’s not Ace, it’s another Windows Phone Nokia 601?
Well I am still not sure about that and not making it more mysterious, the Windows Phone we are talking about here is the same we saw in the accidental developer video which later edited and replaced with Nokia Lumia 800. On the first appearance of the mentioned video the device was being supposed to be Nokia 900 or Ace. It was still clueless with earlier suppositions, while Pocketnow has published adding another supposed player “Nokia 601” with already two suppositions.
But is that new “Nokia 601” thing is real?
Well I was off for last two days – got to attend a wedding of a cousin – but it’s not that late now to talk about Nokia 601. The first thing I saw in my feed reader was this Nokia 601 leak by Pocketnow and very first thing I noticed in the image posted was that to be a fake due to the camera module and the smudged part at the bottom of the image showing backside of the device. Then I also found that the same thing about the camera module has already been mentioned underneath the post referring to thenokiablog post.
I also thought of the Nokia C7 when first saw the camera module in above image. The thing to be noticed was only that why the same (100% same) module, Nokia will mount into two different devices? It’s simply stupid. But alone this can not deny the credibility of information.
I also noticed the smudged area at the bottom of the image which normally should not be there in a pretty clear image if it’s real. You even don’t need to zoom-in or have a closer look. You see many things unnatural when you see any thing critically. In this leaked image you can easily see at the bottom of the device showing backside that on both sides the edges are smudged like being an edited image more than an untouched real picture.
Whatever the name is but, the thing which really can be believed is the device itself. Not the backside though. The front of the device is just same as we saw in the video, which is that as above and the video indeed was official. So the two parts of the story, the back of the device and the name of the device “Nokia 601” are still mysterious.
What else I would like to add here is that I actually didn’t like the design and really will not want it to be Nokia 900 or Ace we have seen with nice set of specifications. Not with the Ace but Nokia 900, when leaked, was appeared with a glimpse of a device design on a paper which to me looks more solid than the design above. See following?
