Update: JoikuSpot Version 3.2 Released, Now Supports Symbian Belle Nokia 700, 701, 603

Joikusoft has recently released a new version of its  WiFi Hotspot app “JoikuSpot” which now supports Symbian Belle as mentioned by Joikusoft.

JoikuSpot officially confirms that latest version 3.2 comes with support for Nokia Belle phones and Nokia Anna phones that have been upgraded to Belle firmware (e.g. Nokia 700, 701, 603, 500, 600, T7, 702T, X7, C7, C6-01, E7, N8, E6 and Oro). 3.2 supports also all previous Symbian versions and Nokia Symbian phones.

You can check complete list of supporting devices here

Well, I am not sure how previous version of JoikuSpot behaved with you guys or with the developer on Symbian Belle. May be it was only not working on new Symbian Belle devices e.g. Nokia 700, 701 and 603 as referenced in an earlier post by Joikusoft where it claimed the support for Belle and MeeGo but later in comments, while replying to a user, they cleared the fact of releasing a new version for Nokia 700 and 701 later in a few weeks.

Joiku.com: There will be a version that supports 700 and 701 models within 1-2 weeks.

You can see following that the previous version 3.1 of JoikuSpot was already running on my Nokia N8 Symbian Belle.

Above screens are showing 1-version dialog, 2-the main screen, 3-connected clients, 4-the connection manager respectively.

If you are one of them who couldn’t get it worked on Symbian Belle, you can give this new version a try as it’s the confirmed working version for Symbian Belle.
