Nokia Collection on Windows Phone Marketplace – Navigate to all Nokia Apps

Nokia Collection on Marketplace: This is what will not be available to other OEMs.

We remember when Nokia and Microsoft announced about their new relationship back in February 2011, Nokia showed its loyal customers and partners that it’s not what other OEMs have been doing in collaboration with Microsoft;s Windows Phone. Nokia will have some exclusiveness into the ecosystem of Windows Phone providing its own home built services and apps which only be available to Nokia devices as they always were.

This is “Nokia Collection” in Marketplace which will not show up in all Windows Phone devices but only in the ones from Nokia, is what they were talking about back then. For now these are available for Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710. Lumia 900 is yet near to its launch. We did hold on to this topic of Nokia Collection before and wanted to brief about it once we had a Nokia Winodws Phone device.

The “Nokia Collection” is currently listing ESPN, Univision, Nokia Drive, Nokia Maps, Apps Highlights and Contacts Transfer. But I guess the category filters application depending on the device or region as you may have seen some other apps in this category. But there are actually other applications from the publisher “Nokia Corporation”.

Navigate to all Nokia Apps:

You can find navigate easily to other applications from “Nokia Corporation” by going through following.

  1. Nokia Collection
  2. Choose any of the applications.
  3. In the app detail, tap on the link “more from Nokia Corporation”

You will now be redirected to another page listing all applications from “Nokia Corporation”.

Please be noted that this list still may depend on your region or your device model.

We’ll try to extract as much about these applications as we could during our trial with Lumia 800.
