Nokia Belle (aka Symbian Belle) officially started rolling-out: Finally!

Finally! Nokia Belle, the most awaited OS update to the Symbian smartphone users that will bring the the biggest change in the Symbian User Interface ever made by Nokia to its users, has now started rolling out as it’s the first week of February nearly off. A wide range of consumers around the globe with Symbian^3 or Symbian Anna devices have just started receiving Nokia Belle OS update via Nokia Suite.

Note! that you must have installed Nokia Suite version 3.3 at least on your computer to receive Nokia Belle update for your Symbian device. Nokia Software Updater will not bring it for you but sure it will also recommend you to download and install Nokia Suite v3.3 or later.

Navifirm, the handy tool on the other hand, shows that the first roll-out is covering a lot of regions rather than only a few.

As per the lists showing on Navifirm, products (may not be all) from APAC, Europe, Brazil, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Middle East, Pakistan and Russia should have started receiving the Nokia Belle OS update

Also seeing the Navifirm listing, Nokia 500 is the only one which is not covered in this roll-out phase. Hopefully will be in the next phases. Nokia E6 will be receiving 111.130.625 version of Belle OS. This version has not appeared in leaks or Navifirm before and seems to be specifically for E6 for its high resolution and other capabilities. Nokia N8, Nokia C7 and Nokia E7 will receive the same 111.030.609 version of Belle OS.

You must check with your phone after connecting with your PC and run Nokia Suite.

Important Note for early [Leaked] Belle adopters

If you have already installed Belle OS on your Symbian devices using our tutorials or any tutorial on the web, you will not see the update notifications via if you are running the same version of Belle leaked which version is now available officially for you. But if you have a leaked Belle with earlier version before 111.030.609 than you should be able to update via Nokia Suite provided the update is available for your product code.

There are 2 ways for you to get the official Belle OS but prior to that you can use Navifirm to check if your product code is included in the list. If your product code is listed in the Navifirm then there should be an official Belle OS update waiting for you via Nokia Suite.

Option 1: Use Re-install option on Nokia Suite to install official Belle OS.

Option 2: Simply download Belle OS files from Navifirm for your product code and flash it using Phoenix.

Option 3: Downgrade to earlier Symbian OS and then connect to Nokia Suite to update officially.
