Nokia Lumia range of smartphones goes Official in Pakistan

We previously told about the story that Nokia’s Lumia range of smartphones powered by Windows Phone OS were going to have an applause in a sneak preview in Karachi. The event went on August 9 of the current month and in the result we have the very first Windows Phone based devices from Nokia officially announced in Pakistan.

Not getting large at text, the good news for Nokia fans in Pakistan is that you will be able to buy Nokia Lumia 710, Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 900 from next week. The official prices of the respective devices are Rs. 26,000, Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 52,000. While these devices were available in the markets in Pakistan since a few months but they were sold at unofficial prices which were more than above official prices. Benefit to the customers of this official launch will be that they now have better prices for the devices and on top of that the standard one year manufacturer warranty.

If rewinding the days back when Nokia globally announced its Windows Phone devices, it was the later days of October 2011. Since then Nokia has been shipping Nokia Lumia devices to the select regions. Even though we had a chance to review Nokia Lumia 800 in very early days of 2012, these Lumia devices were not officially available in Pakistan at that time. Well these are the very first Windows Phone devices from Nokia in Pakistan. Having remembered the decades of serving by Nokia, we wish best for the company to bring better smartphones in Pakistan as well as keeping in mind to serve all types of living in the country.
