SkyDrive now officially available for Android devices finally!

Microsoft has been updating its applications for smartphones in a continuous manner however they are available on select platforms only. SkyDrive, from those, was currently available for iOS and Windows Phone, even it was made available to Nokia’s Belle OS lately as services to work with other Microsoft Apps in favour of the partnership between Microsoft and Nokia. The company has just announced on its Windows Team Blog that SkyDrive for Android is now available for Android devices. SkyDrive will require Android 2.3 or above running on your Android devices to run with full functions, however Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is the recommended platform for the app to run at its best.

SkyDrive is the place to store your files so you can access them from virtually any device. With SkyDrive for Android, you can now easily access and share files on the go. You can also upload photos or videos from your phone to SkyDrive.
