Microsoft Team signed off the Windows Phone 8 for RTM

According to recent reports, Microsoft has finalized the Windows Phone 8 (code named: Apollo) for RTM (Release to Manufacturing) as the team members behind Windows Phone 8 were pictured when signing off a wall with those titles you will be having on the home screen on Windows Phone 8 devices.

Foley from ZDNet once reported back in July about Windows Phone 8 Apollo being released – as RTM – in September and – as GA – in November and also were. Showing great strength of scheduled date today (in September) that news is now turning reality as WMPowerUser (via LiveSino) has published the pictures showing a team (most probably be the Windows Phone 8 development team) signing off the the wall with the big Windows Phone 8 tiles. The two of the tiles tells the idea about what we are seeing. “RTM” and “Apollo” can be seen as written on two of the tiles on the top row. The photos originally was posted by coolrick at a Chinese microblogging website weibo.com.

That’s Terry Myerson, Corporate VP at Windows Phone division, signing the big Windows Phone tile.

Since the day Windows Phone 8 was announced, till today we have learnt that the new Windows Phone OS will bring a bunch of upgrades in user interfaces and features comparatively to the current iteration of the OS. Recent announcement of Nokia’s Lumia 920 has shown a lot of hardware compatibility features of Windows Phone OS as well as the software based features e.g. the camera features.

Nokia Lumia 920 will be one of the smartphones coming stocked with Windows Phone 8. After the hardware support now we really need to see the guts of the software as how Microsoft has played in the partnership.

Just assuming the fact that ZDNet’s July report being true so far, if all goes on time, we’ll be seeing an official announcement from Microsoft soon.
