The low-end Lumia 520 and the mid-range Lumia 720 are now available Pakistani customers. Both the new smartphones run Windows Phone 8 OS where Lumia 520 is the most inexpensive Windows Phone 8 smartphone which was launched globally in February of current year along with the Nokia Lumia 720. Lumia 620 now stands between Lumia 520 and 720 obviously feature wise and price wise. Nokia Lumia 520 has been tagged to sale in Pakistan for Rs. 18,400/- including taxes while Nokia Lumia 720 is available for Rs. 32,800/- inclusive of taxes. Both prices are official from Nokia. Nokia Lumia 520 is having 4-inch WVGA IPS LCD display featuring the same Super Sensitive touch technology as came with high-end Lumia 820 and Lumia 920. Supporting 1 GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon S4 processor and 512 MB of RAM. Mass memory has 8 GB for internal user storage and an option to extend memory via MicroSD card of up to 64GB. Additional 7GB of free cloud storage on SkyDrive will be added to your Windows Live account. Battery capacity is 1430 mAh. The smartphone does bring a 5 Megapixel primary camera for regular photography and video recording but no secondary camera is available, hence no front facing video chat on Skype. Nokia’s traditional dedicated camera shutter key is present. With support of 3G HSPA, WLAN, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS, Micro SIM, 3.5mm Audio Connector, USB 2.0. Lumia 520 lacks the NFC connectivity and Wireless charging features. The major inclusion of f/1.9 aperture opening in camera module with 6.7 Megapixel sensor of size 1/3.6″ and Carl Zeiss lens with LED flash. What differs Lumia 720 from Lumia 520 is the battery capacity which is 2000 mAh. Lumia 720 also supports NFC connectivity and wireless charging with add-on accessory cover.
