Microsoft Event Dubai 2014: Launch Pictures Lumia 930, 630, 635

Microsoft initially announced the flagship Lumia 930 and budget smartphones 630 and 635 back in April during the Build Conference 2014. Yesterday all these devices were launched in Middle East, Near East and North Africa during the event held in Dubai.

Lumia 630 is the first ever Dual SIM smartphone running Windows Phone 8.1 Operating System which is also available in Single SIM variant. Both the Lumia 630 SS/DS runs on 2G and 3G networks while another variant which is named Lumia 635 also supports 4G/LTE but only available in Single SIM.

Running on Windows Phone 8.1, Lumia 630 and 635 are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 with the support of Adreno 307 GPU. 4.5″ screen serves the display resolution of 480 x 854 pixels with the pixels density of approximately 218 PPI. Internal storage comes with the 8GB of memory with the option to expand via microSD upto 128GB. The RAM is lower than moderate on these budget phones which is only 512 MB. 5 megapixels camera is on the back while there is no front facing camera.

The flagship Nokia Lumia 930, which also runs on Windows Phone 8.1, is packed with the 20 megapixels camera on the back with Carl ZEISS optics, optical image stabilization and dual LED flash. Secondary front-facing camera only captures 1.2 megapixels shots while records 720p videos. Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800, Quad-core 2.2 GHz Krait 400 processor gives power to the Lumia 930 with the 2GB of RAM. Internal storage limits at 32 GB with no expandable microSD card option. Lumia 930 supports both 3G and 4G networks. Connectivity options include nano SIM card, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 while the battery capacity is 2420 mAh.
