Microsoft Regional Conference Dubai: Lumia 930, 630 and 635

Yesterday evening, at a regional conference held in Dubai, Microsoft Devices announced that the first Lumia devices running Windows Phone 8.1 which include Lumia 930, Lumia 630 Single Sim/Dual Sim and Lumia 635 LTE/4G are now available across the Middle East, Near East including Pakistan and North Africa.

This new chapter in the Lumia story builds on the success of the Lumia 520 for affordable smartphones, and also brings new innovations at the high end. Along with a range of Lumia devices, other accessories were launched in the region including the Bluetooth Mini Speaker that connects wirelessly using the Device Hub app and the other one is Nokia Treasure Tag that lets you know when you are far from your important things – be it the pictures and videos of your family on your Lumia 930 or your keys or handbag. It notifies your phone through a dedicated application when your belongings are left behind.

Price and Availability

The Flagship Lumia 930 is expected to be available during the third quarter of 2014 in the region. It will be available in a range of colors including black, white, green, yellow and orange varyingly in different regions. It will cost Rs. 53,900/- in Pakistan, AED 2199 in UAE, SR 2199 in Saudi Arabia, EGYP 4999 in Egypt and USD 660 in Lebanon.

The Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 have started to roll out in the region and is available in black, white, yellow, orange and green varyingly in different regions.  The Lumia 630 Single SIM will cost Rs. 16,800/- in Pakistan, EGYP 1249 in Egypt, MAD 1500 in Morocco, USD 175 in Lebanon and will not be available in UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Lumia 630 Dual SIM will cost Rs. 17,600/- in Pakistan, AED 599 in UAE, SR 575 in Saudi Arabia and a little more price in other regions.
