Along with the announcements of Android 5.0 Lollipop and the new Nexus 6 smartphone, Google also has introduced the new Nexus tablet, the Nexus 9. The new Nexus 9 features the 8.9″ big screen.
Powered up with a 64-bit processor NVIDIA Tegra K1 Dual Denver and 2GB of RAM, the Nexus 9 features the IPS LCD under the screen with resolution of QXGA (2048×1536). It serves at the pixels density of approximately 281 PPI. Checkout full specifications after the break.
Manufactured by HTC after long time, Nexus 9 is built of metal at sides while at the back the tablet comes in three colors black, white and sand.
Just like the new Nexus phone, the tablet will also come pre-built with the Android 5.0 Lollipop with better multitasking on the tablet.
Fully-responsive keyboard is also an option with the latest Nexus tablet that is magnetically attached with the tablet so that it can hold on it at different angles .You will need to buy that separately which is also reliable to take along with you at one place to another.
The Nexus 9 will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 32GB + LTE models and will cost $399, $479 and $599, respectively.

Update: The prices of the Nexus 9 appears on Google Play Store India costing 16GB, 32GB + LTE for 28,900/- and 44,900/- Indian Rupees or ($470 and $730 which is huge as against the global price revealed earlier). Looks like Indian Govt. is also imposing huge taxes for these. Or it’s something else? do tell us in the comments below.
