A mysterious device having the Lumia 1020 like camera bump was leaked yesterday. It’s being called as Lumia 1030. To be more precise as a successor to the 41MP Lumia 1020, it’s being also reported that the leaked Lumia 1030 will sport an even bigger imaging sensor of 50 Megapixels.
According to earlier reports, the new Lumia device with the camera bump that seems to be equal to the Lumia 1020 is identified as “Nokia RM-1052” running Windows Phone 8.1 with having the support of 2GB of RAM and a 5-inch 1080p display. With the camera bump the device’s back shows it’s an aluminium built. Checkout the leaked pictures below.
This device is also being reported as the device code-name “Nokia McLaren” that was later canceled. The is said to be powered by Quad-core Snapdragon chipset.
Unexpectedly, the device shows a dual-LED flash instead of a power-ful xenon flash came on the original Lumia 1020. The reports tell that Toshiba will again manufacture the sensor in Lumia 1030. Lumia 1020, 1520 and 930 has also the sensor manufactured by Toshiba.
The leaked Lumia device is reported to be launched at upcoming MWC next year. What do you think of this device? Would you take it as the Lumia 1020’s successor? Do tell us below in the comments.
