The New MacBook adds USB-C port – makes you buy additional accessories

Apple has announced the new MacBook. They announced it exactly the way they usually do it, adding new things and removing every standard ways or components to show – their own innovation as they call it. All alone single port on the new MacBook is the new USB Type-C reversible port and they call it in short the USB-C port. It will handle the charging, data input/output and video out.

The very first impression delivers with a great question that how the things, you do regularly, will be done on the new MacBook. How will the users recharge an iPhone and the laptop at the same time? What about if a user wants to connect to external display while the laptop is charging? There could many other combinations for which the user will have to buy, in addition, these adapters from Apple.

There is a factor that no one is talking about – the USB Type C is not first time here in a consumer device. After the buyout, Nokia has licensed the first Android tablet “Nokia N1” later last year that introduced the USB Type-C reversible connector. Well that is tablet and of course can afford a multi-purpose single port.

So as the new MacBook is concerned, you can not connect your iPhone or iPad or anything to the new MacBook unless you have the additional connecting adapters. Apple has always done that – implementing with new non-required components (innovation as they call it) then forcing consumers to buy add-on accessories to their needs but before; they invent that need for their consumers.

There is new touch trackpad that Apple calls the Force Touch Trackpad. It however is designed differently and it’s fixed into the palm-rest. It does not move at all. The Force Trackpad detects the force how much you push on it to trigger the “click” feature. There are force sensors underneath that detect how much pressure you are applying. With the help of vibrating motors under it, the trackpad gives you haptic feedback to feel it as a real “click”.
