Lumia 840 reportedly being tested in India

We are looking at Microsoft while they have been continuously making low-end and budget Lumia devices such as Lumia 435, Lumia 532 and Lumia 535 etc. etc. Here is a report that claims as the successor to Lumia 830 is under works.

As reported by the the guys at npu, the report comes from import data for India which is available at Zauba. An unnamed device, which is said to be the Lumia 840, is listed with a 5.7″ display and is also listed as single SIM and dual SIM variants.

The rumors also include that Lumia 840 may have the latest version of the Lumia Denim softwre update bundled on top of the Windows Phone 8.1 GDR2. While the future support for Windows 10 will also be present.

According to the report, the price Lumia 840 is around INR 38,000/- which is around $600 or PKR 60,000/- Hence they are not the final prices.

Microsoft seems to be very interested to target mass markets like India where the dual SIM phones are most wanted in almost no price difference. The same goes in favor of Pakistani markets. dual SIM flagship phones may be appreciated heavily.
