While presenting at the event, Apple also demonstrated a range of new apps that take advantage of the iPad Pro’s features. Unlike before at an Apple event, a Microsoft’s guy participated to showcase its productivity tools on iPad while Adobe demoed its new suite of apps for the iPad including Photoshop Fix which lets you modify/edit images of up to 50 megapixels using – that too with Apple Pencil. The new app has the ability to detect faces in the image and also allows users to isolate the facial features.

Apple Pencil

The first time ever, Apple also brought a stylus with the iPad Pro, Apple Pencil for iPad Pro which makes drawing and sketching easy and natural as always you would think with a physical pencil on the paper or more commonly a stylus on the tablets.

The touch subsystem in iPad Pro should reduce the latency and deliver accuracy while working with Apple Pencil for activities like fine art illustration and detailed 3D design – as Apple suggests it so. Apple Pencil is equipped with sensors to measure both pressure and tilt for relative drawing experience. It also works with popular apps like Mail, Notes, Procreate and Office 365 for iPad, which of course should give better experience on the iPad. There is also built-in Lightning connector with Apple Pencil for quick and easy pairing and charging.

The Smart Keyboard also works seamlessly with new QuickType® features in iOS 9 to make typing even faster and easier.

Like the Apple Pencil, the Smart Keyboard will also be available for purchase separately and the price of the keyboard is $169 (US). Smart Keyboard will be available in Charcoal Gray color.
