Microsoft Lumia 550 4G LTE Costs only $139

Along side the two flagships Lumia 950 and 950 XL, Microsoft has also announced an affordable Lumia 550 which costs only $139 but supports 4G/LTE networks.

Lumia 550 will also run on Windows 10 being one of the first official devices running on Microsoft’s latest Windows platform. This Lumia is powered up with the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 Quad-core CPU clocked at 1.1 GHz with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB storage having microSD card support up to 200 GB.

Weighing 142 grams Lumia 550 is 9.9 mm thick and has a 4.7″ LCD with HD resolution of (1280 x 720 pixels) serving at the pixel density of 315 ppi and also has Glance support. Battery is 2100mAh and is removable.

Main camera is 5 megapixels with auto focus capability and a single LED flash. Lens aperture is f/2.4 and it can record 720p videos at 30 fps. On the front there a 2 MP fixed focus camera for selfies and video calling.

Other features include A-GPS/GLONASS, A-Beidou, WiFi (2.4 GHz) b/g/n, micro USB, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, nano-SIM. Listed sensors are: Accelerometer, Proximity, Ambient Light Sensor.

Lumia 550 will begin rolling out in select European markets in December, with additional markets to follow.
