Mobilink brings iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in Pakistan, Available November 13th

After having launched globally last month, iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are now headed to Pakistan. Mobilink, in collaboration with Apple, has announced to launch the highly anticipated iPhone 6s and 6s Plus smartphones for customers across Pakistan.

Available for sale from November 13th, 2015 across the country, the devices can be pre-ordered by customers from their nearest Mobilink Business Centers as well as online here. The launch is in line with Mobilink’s strategy of introducing the latest devices to the market, and provides customers an opportunity to experience the Telco’s superior 3G and voice services on the most advanced iPhones till date.

The iPhone 6s is described as being a vastly improved version of all previous designs, with Apple CEO, Tim Cook stating that “even if the iPhone 6s may look familiar, we have changed everything about these new iPhones”.

Available with the same 4.7 and 5.5-inch Retina displays, the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus have the same exterior design as the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, however the hardware and technology of the 6s and 6s plus have been thoroughly updated. The exterior body and screen has also been upgraded and is now stronger and more durable than any previous-generation iPhone.

Other new features that stand out are the new second-generation Touch ID module that makes fingerprint detection twice as fast, and the introduction of a 3D Touch feature, which Apple is calling “the future of Multi-Touch.” These new iPhones also boast of new camera features i.e. an innovative new feature called ‘Live Photos’, which captures 1.5 seconds of movement before and after a photo is taken to display short animations and sound.

Mobilink has not announced prices as yet. However according to global pricing, iPhone 6s may cost you around Rs. 72,000/-, 82,000/- and 95,000/- for 16GB, 64GB and 128GB respectively. While iPhone 6s Plus may cost around Rs. 82,000/-, 95,000/- and 110,000/- respectively for the 16, 64 and 128GB variants. We’ll update this post as soon as the official prices are revealed.
