Huawei, the largest telecommunication equipment maker and growing Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is being rumored to enter into PC business this year.

The newly expected or rumored laptop from Huawei is said to be called as “MateBook”. As reports a Chinese newspaper, Yicai, Huawei has its plans to launch rumored MateBook next month (probably at Mobile World Congress). The report also suggests that the company has partnered with Intel Corporation of course for the processor on their new laptop.

This is an update to the news which was first broke out last year when the company had registered the trademark “MateBook” leaving the whole market wonder that if the company was planning to enter into PC market with its first laptop.

First impressions about the name are very close to Apple’s famous laptop brand “Mac Book”. And if you are thinking that way, you must also note that “Mate” is already a flagship smartphone brand from Huawei which has its own popularity mostly after the recent Mate 8 smartphone – getting launched in Pakistan on 31st January. So it could just have been adopted for the “MateBook”.

Huawei has earned reputation for high technology smart products. If all of this goes true, the world of computers is going to be invaded by the Chinese phone maker. After having seen the company’s approach till date, it should be clear that if they have planned to enter in the PC market they would come with better products with even better prices.
