Huawei & Leica Camera to reinvent Smartphone Photography after a recent partnership

We have seen a huge push towards smartphone photography at this year MWC. Such as Samsung’s Galaxy S7 devices and the new LG G5 focusing more on photography elements as well as OPPO has introduced its own sensor-based image stabilization for mobile phones. The Chinese smartphone maker Huawei feeds with its own news of having partnered the German optics manufacturer “Leica Camera”.

In an announcement, Huawei and Leica Camera were bound in a strategic long-term partnership to share their technology and photography expertise to re-invent the smartphone photography. There should really be no doubts as both of the companies can get benefited from each other after looking at their jobs at which they have proven to be really really good. However considering today’s era, we are expecting the development to be focused on smartphone photography as that’s the part where both the companies could help each other to build a great camera system for mobiles.

Both the partners have plans to work together in research and development, design, co-engineering, user experience, marketing and retail distribution. Expect more information to be shared sooner or later by the companies as the partnership continues.
