Huawei Y5 II set to launch in Pakistan

Announced last month, the Huawei Y3 II and Y5 II, are the successors to Huawei Y3 and Y5 of last year. Only a few days ago it was revealed that Y3 II was going to be launched in Pakistan. Following that, according to new update the Huawei Y5 II is also set to launch in the country.

Huawei Y5 II comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box with the EMUI 3.1 software UI running on top. Just like this year’s Y3 II, Huawei Y5 II will also come in two variants – one supporting 3G and other one with the support of 4G connectivity on two different chipsets.

The Huawei Y5 II 3G model will be packed with MediaTek MT6582 SoC and 1.3GHz Quad-core processor while the 4G model of the phone will feature a MediaTek MT6735P SoC with 1.3GHz quad-core processor.

Either of the variants of Y5 II will be equipped with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage along side it will have expandable microSD card support. The phone will include a 5-inch display with HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, a 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Huawei Y5 II measures 72 x 143.8 x 8.9 mm and weighs 135 grams and both the models are backed up by a 2200mAh battery.

Price of the phone has not yet been revealed, however the phone will be available during the coming weeks in Obsidian Black, Arctic White, Sand Gold, Rose Pink, Sky Blue.
