Infinix Hot S – Full Metal Body with Fingerprint Scanner to launch Soon

The first smartphone from Infinix to support a now-famous feature – a fingerprint scanner, Infinix Hot S is being teased by the company itself.

Infinix Hot S has been in news for quite a few days also being reported as Infinix Note 3 previously. Infinix Pakistan, on their facebook fan page, has posted about an upcoming event where the company apparently has plans to launch its new smartphone on July 28th.

Infinix Pakistan shared an image with a big “S” written in the middle and the hashtag #‎AllEyesOnMe‬. The image doesn’t reveal anything specific but recently emerged reports suggest that it’s about the next smartphone with a fully metal body and fingerprint scanner, the company has plans to launch.

While the company has not shared details about such a smartphone but as per the reports, the upcoming Infinix Hot S is going to have full metal body as well as a fingerprint scanner as appeared in the leaked images – after the break.

The fingerprint scanner is on the back of the phone where Huawei has been placing their fingerprint scanner units for quite a good time. At the top, there is the camera and a very thin line (probably an antenna stripe) below it, then goes the dual-LED flash just above the fingerprint scanner.

It’s also reported that Infinix Hot S will support Virtual Reality (VR) features as it comes with the required sensors. Previously Infinix Zero 3 also featured gyroscope but enabled with later software updates.

The company has recently launched an Infinix Hot 3 variant with Snapdragon processor with a bit higher price tag than the original Infinix Hot 3. However the upcoming Hot S is being reported to have MediaTek processor which previously powered Infinix Zero 3. More features as reported can be found below.

There is no hint or clue about the price of Infinix Hot S but according to rumors two different variants of the smartphone might be available as the one with 3GB RAM + 32GB Internal Storage may cost PKR 20,000/- ($200 USD) and the other one with 2GB RAM + 16GB Internal Storage may cost PKR 18,000/- ($180 USD)
