Maintaining their job at DxOMark, the engineers have put the iPhone 7 camera through their lab test and they can tell that it would be a better upgrade from iPhone 6s or 6s Plus for their camera features and image quality.
DxOMark has rated the iPhone 7 with 86 on their leader board of smartphone camera ranks which is quite below various other brands but it stands above Apple’s previous generation iPhone 6s Plus that scored 84.
According DxOMark, iPhone 7 standing at number 3 along with LG G5 and last year’s Galaxy Note 5, there are six smartphone leading ahead and sharing the scores 87 and 88. The folks at DxOMark, were happy with the improved texture performance which according to them is due to the new lens design in the latest iPhone.
Low noise and artifact levels were also found to be better than predecessors as well as the camera produces good exposures with a wider dynamic range. They also found the white balance and color rendering to be good.
The testers were impressed by the efficient stabilization, fast autofocus and good detail in video recording. On the cons side, iPhone 7 lacks on fine detail and visible luminance noise in low light.
