Mobilink 4G Services appear to have started in Trial Mode

Mobilink seems to have started testing its 4G services in limited regions, as the network appeared on individuals’ phone in Islamabad when preferred network feature set to manual mode, reported propakistani.

Following the merger of the two telcos – Mobilink and Warid, it was instantly believed that Mobilink may start 4G/LTE services soon as the the latter network had already launched the LTE services in the country while currently Mobilink is serving its customer base with 2G and 3G services only.

Mobilink has not yet revealed about its 4G services but as believed earlier and the recent update assures that the company might be in process of testing its 4G network in several undisclosed regions of the country – preferably Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore.

While the sources in Mobilink have already disclosed that the company will start testing the 4G network soon in select regions where the company employees will be facilitated to trial the services, this update comes as proof of the services been initialized in trial mode.

It’s worth mentioning that the merger of the two operators is still in process as well as the integration of the infrastructure has not yet been completed. Once the 4G services are launched publicly by Mobilink, it’s assumed that with a huge and most of the customer base of Mobilink, 4G services will be drastically increased in the market.

Also note that Mobilink hasn’t even revealed about any plans of the trial 4G services officially so expect a few months before you will see Mobilink 4G hitting publicly. We’ll update you as the trial 4G coverage expands in other regions.
