Just before CES 2017 kicking off this year, Huawei has opened its doors and announced the global price of its affordable smartphone featuring the now-famous dual-camera setup with the base price of $250.
Huawei previously launched the sub-brand smartphone Honor 6X in its home country in October 2016 which had triggered the desire of this handset to be launched globally, and more specifically in US. With the recent announcement at CES this year, it seems everyone is going to be excited around the global.
The aluminium built Honor 6X is going to hit a range of countries and regions including the US, the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, the UAE, KSA, Iran, and Iraq. Not to mention Pakistan which has already been teased by Huawei Pakistan.
Honor 6X is launched in the base model with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage globally which is now available to buy from hihonor online brand store from various regions. 4GB variants is also set to be available in select regions later this year.
The base variant of Honor 6X with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage will cost $250 from hihonor online store. Customers in the U.S. will get special treat of discounted price of $200 during flash sale on all the Tuesdays in January. In the UK, the Honor 6X will cost £225 for base variant. The other variant 4GB RAM variant will cost $300 as global price.
The features of Huawei Honor 6X include dual-camera – a 12MP sensor with PDAF and a 2MP sensor for depth mapping. On the front there is 8MP camera. The phone has a 5.5 inch display with FHD 1080p resolution and the screen features 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, there is Kirin 655 16nm processor.
The Honor 6X will be supporting 4G VoLTE networks. It will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 inside a unibody metal build and the device also features a fingerprint sensor which is as fast as it can unlock screen in just 300 milliseconds. The phone is backed up by a 3340mAh battery.
