Huawei P10 Confirmed for Feb 26th, with Dual-Camera and iris Scanner

Huawei P10 Official Teaser Video

Following a long list of rumors and speculations, Huawei has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming flagship Huawei P10. It’s all set to announce at Mobile World Congress 2017 starting this month.

Huawei has released a 20-second teaser video clip on its official YouTube channel that reveals the Huawei P10 along with the clear and cut February 26th, 2017 launch date at Barcelona. Well that’s MWC 2017 to be exact.

Along with the date, the same #OO tag is also hinting at a dual-camera configuration of Huawei P10. But that’s pretty much obvious as it’s exactly like the company teased last year about its predecessor. What’s hidden in the teaser are those eyes which we believe the company is hinting at iris scanner.

The teaser clip goes with the sentence word by word as “change the way the world sees you”. Well that line doesn’t reveal anything but curiosity if it means something new. However considering that it’s just the reverse of the tag line that company used last year with Huawei P9 “change the way you see the world”. That could mean Huawei P10 might have dual-camera on the front side too which is far from speculations yet.

Huawei P10 Plus

Considering the launch phenomenon of a smartphone from any manufacturers, it usually follows the predecessor’s line. So where we should expect a Huawei P10 Plus variant, a listing on a retail store has also revealed its specs.

As phonearena reports, the Huawei P10 will feature an 8GB of RAM and as large internal storage as 512GB. That’s pretty much a big deal in a smartphone. The 5.5″  display will serve at full HD resolution while the phone will be powered by a Kirin 960 processor.

According to listing the said variant of Huawei P10 will be priced at $799. It’s worth mentioning here that Huawei P9 Plus only had 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
