LG V30, Design, Large Camera Aperture, and more in Leaks

LG V30 Render

In the world of rumors and leaks, LG V30 is just another contender which is not living on a corner. There have been couple of bits leaked about the upcoming LG flagship phone which included some renders, specs leak and parts photos.

Today we have an addition with a profile image of the LG V30 taken from a user manual. We don’t have access to that manual as for yet but the leakster @OnLeaks has just released an image containing a simple illustration of LG V30 as you would expect from a user manual.

According to the illustration, the LG V30 looks more like the LG G6 in a larger form. Information yet we have, tells that V30 will have the same kind of 2:1 FullVision OLED display like LG G6. Power key will be present in the fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone.

LG V30 also reportedly features a massive lens aperture on its camera, f/1.6 – the largest in a smartphone camera yet. This is about to gain the most light to the sensor as only a minor difference in aperture opening could make a significant impact in low-light shooting. If this is true, expect LG to do more in smartphone photography by leading the current widest f/1.7 lens aperture on Galaxy S8 and HTC U11.

So far, as we have seen the renders and leaked shells of LG V30, it’s believed that the f/1.6 lens will sit on the main camera among the dual-camera setup. Whereas the second camera doesn’t seem to be under consideration of the leaksters – we don’t have specifics about the second in the duo.

There is also no information about how LG is going to price the upcoming LG V30, so expect that in coming days or wait for the official words later this month.

Emerging from previous leaks and information, LG V3 is supposed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 Octa-core CPU along with 4GB of RAM. The flagship phone will feature a 6-inch display with 2:1 aspect ratio and will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.

LG is officially unveiling the LG V30 on August 31st at IFA 2017 and is expected to go on sale from late September in the US. What are your expectations for this device? Do give you feedback in the comments section below.
