Vivo Xplay 7 with under-display fingerprint sensor and three rear cameras leaked

Vivo X20 (Xplay 7) Under-display Fingerprint, Three Cameras

Like OPPO, Xiaomi and more bigger Chinese smartphone brand – Huawei, Vivo is another smartphone brand from China which is actually smaller than former but has stepped up in the technology adoption. The company, recently known to be working with Qualcomm to experiment with an under-display fingerprint scanner, now has again popped up in leaks with an actual smartphone carrying the said fingerprint technology.

People were widely familiar with the technology as to be introduced by the tech giants like Apple or Samsung in near future. But only a few weeks ago, Qualcomm, in collaboration with Vivo, demonstrated its ultrasonic fingerprint solution working within an old Vivo Xplay 6 smartphone as a prototype model of an under-display fingerprint scanner. The technology will wave off the need of a physical button present on the device to embed a fingerprint reader.

Samsung, on the other hand, has already disclosed that at least the under-display fingerprint sensor won’t make it through the upcoming Galaxy Note 8. Considering the recently leaked images, it seems that Vivo will take a lead to introduce the technology in its upcoming smartphone referred as Vivo X20 or Vivo Xplay 7.

The leaked images of Vivo Xplay 7 suggest that the phone might be available in gold, silver and black colors. The pictures also reveal that the front has taller display with curved edges and pretty much smaller bezels on top and bottom.

On the back there seem to be the not single or dual but three cameras stacked in vertical order. Dual front cameras are also noticeable on the front. There is no detail known about the specifications or hardware features of the phone as far now.
