Huawei Mate 10 Lite

Huawei will be introducing its upcoming Mate 10 smartphone on October 16th, reportedly in four models. We have already learnt enough about the Mate 10’s Standard and Pro models, and a little bit of intro with the existence of a Lite variant. With the recent information in hand, if true, the featured render image above is presenting you the Mate 10 Lite — code named: Rhone.

What’s interesting is that we already know about the phone with most of its features but we knew it as Huawei G10 – a global version of Maimang 6 launching in China on September 22nd. This phone has also been appeared along the leaks of Mate 10 but a week ago an official teaser revealed it to be Maimang 6 in for home market.

With this input from a credible source, Evan Blass – @evleaks, we now might have good information about the Mate 10 Lite variant as well. It indeed will be the Maimang 6 of China, releasing globally bearing the name as Mate 10 Lite instead of G10. With the features like quad-camera configuration and the display resolution in 18:9 aspect ratio, it makes sense launching the device along with Mate 10 lineup.

Making it the most affordable among upcoming flagship lineup, Mate 10 Lite will be featuring not two, nor three, but four cameras. A dual-camera setup on the back and a dual-camera setup on the front. We know it for long that Mate 10 will be featuring Huawei’s EntireView display with 18:9 resolution but with home launch on September 22nd, this will be the first Huawei phone to feature this display.
