Mi Note 3 and Mi Mix 2 Camera Samples are here

Xiaomi just announced its dual-camera Mi Note 3 and the near bezel-less Mi Mix 2 smartphones. Both smartphone have 12MP main camera but the Mi Note 3 has a dual-camera setup, one with telephoto lens.

Mi Mix 2 is an enhanced and improved version of the original Mi Mix in a smaller and more compact size. The phone has really tough specs including the Snapdragon 835 chipset with 6GB of RAM. In various storage options, there is special edition as well which boasts an 8GB of RAM.

This nearly bezel-less phone has in fact a primary camera pretty much similar to the one Mi 6 had. It’s 12-megapixel primary camera module which has a Sony IMX386 image sensor with pixel size of 1.25µm inside, while there’s a 5-element lens with f/2.0 aperture and 4-axis OIS (optical image stabilization). The main camera features some kind of dark light enhancement technology as well to improve low-light shots. There’s a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

Along side the bezel-less premium flagship phone, Xiaomi also introduced the new Mi Note 3 with dual-camera configuration. It’s more like the Mi 6 smartphone but in larger form. Mi Note 3 has a mid-range Snapdragon 660 but also boasts 6GB of RAM and comes in two storage options.

Mi Note 3 also has a 12-megapixel camera like Mi 6 but it comes with a helper second camera too. It’s the dual-camera setup with the 12MP + 12MP sensors. One with the wide-angle lens and the other with telephoto lens (2x optical zoom). The camera also features optical image stabilization. The prominent feature of the primary camera is the portrait mode which takes the photos with bokeh effect (background blur).
