Press ReleaseAccording to recent report, OPPO has broken into the top-ranked smartphone vendors in Pakistan for the first two Quarters of 2017. The brand now ranks No. 2 in the 4G smartphone market of Pakistan.

The company shared the latest data from GFK during a media get together on Friday at a local hotel in Lahore. According to the latest findings from the leading market research agency, GFK for the month of July 2017- OPPO F3, OPPO A57 and OPPO A37 are ranked amongst the top 5 most popular android phones in Pakistan 4G smartphone market.

This follows the global success of OPPO R11 and OPPO A57 when they captured the top two spots of Android phones in the world scale for the month of July 2017 according to Counterpoint Technology Market Research.

OPPO is one of the fastest growing brands in Pakistan thanks to the popularity of models including the flagship OPPO F3, OPPO A37 and OPPO A57. OPPO is growing swiftly thanks not only to smartphone design, manufacturing capability, and rich feature sets but also by out-smarting and out-spending rivals in sales channels, go-to-market, and marketing promotion strategies.

If you are wondering about the first rank, then it’s taken by Samsung while the local brand Q Mobile takes the third spot in the list.

OPPO F3 became one of the best-selling Android phones in Pakistan as it was the first phone to introduce the dual selfie camera feature to the Pakistani Customers creating a selfie trend across the country.

With a 16-megapixel front camera and powerful specs, OPPO A57 is highly favoured by young consumers for its unstoppable selfies while OPPO A37 offers a handful of high end features for a price of PKR 16,899.

Top Smartphones PakistanGFK’s latest figures come on the tail of another encouraging report from independent research firm IDC, indicating that OPPO held the No. 4 spot in the world in 2016. Bolstered by 153 percent year-on-year growth for the first quarter of 2016, OPPO broke into the top-five global smartphone vendors for the first time.

OPPO shipped 18.5 million units in the first quarter of 2016, according to IDC, up from 7.3 million in the same period last year. Its year-on-year growth was the strongest of the top five brands.
