Samsung Galaxy X – latest rendering of Samsung’s Foldable Smartphone

Speculations and rumors about the time turning back to foldable phones with futuristic characteristics is not new. Various display manufacturers have already shown their prototype bendable displays at various occasions. This year when the CES 2018 is going on in Las Vegas, once rumored Galaxy X – a foldable phone from Samsung, is again in the news.

While most of the Galaxy fans have been keeping their eyes on this years Galaxy S9, a recent report suggests that the Korean smartphone maker may also be ready to release its long waited bendable smartphone, rumored as Galaxy X,  later this year or early next year.

The latest input in the rumors is the new renders of the foldable smartphone by Samsung, Galaxy X, leaked by LetsGoDigital. This leaked rendering provides some important details about the design of this device. According to the illustrations, Galaxy X will featuring a hinge in the middle.

As reported earlier by The Korea Herald, Samsung has held a private meeting with select clients at the consumer electronic show on January 10th. An anonymous source told the publication as Samsung has disclosed that it has developed a 7.3-inch foldable display panel.

Referring to the industry sources another one shared that this year Samsung had attracted more clients comparatively. The Korean giant is said to have presented two designs – infolding and outfolding in the private meeting.

If everything, as planned and reported, is true to the fact, expect the so-called Galaxy X foldable smartphone to launch early next year as the company will be starting production by the end of 2018.
