TCL has launched P6 4K UHD Smart TV (newest in its P-series) in Pakistan during an event held at the Nishat Hotel, Emporium Mall, Lahore.
To target high-end consumer market, TCL’s new P6 will be available in 43”, 50”, 55” & 65” sizes in obsidian black color. The four will respectively cost PKR 57,900/-, PKR 75,900/-, PKR 89,900/- and PKR 139,900/-
The P6 TV offers a slim design and promises “industry-leading picture and sound quality”. It has an ultra-slim 4.8mm Bezel, metallic casing with a flowline to illustrate a highly minimalist design. The TV also features multiple smart functions to entertain trend-conscious consumers.
P6 TV Features
The TV features an identical resolution of 3,840 × 2,160 pixels across all sized models, hence dubbed as 4K/UHD TV. It has micro-dimming technology that allows better contrast. The technology analyses video content in multiple separate zones (hundreds of them) and adjusts brightness and/or darkness of each zone separately. P6 also utilizes HDR technology promising a better picture quality and accurate image reproduction of light and dark shades.
The P6 has Dolby Audio decoder and boasts studio-level 5.1 surround sound. “This high-quality audio places users in the center of the action, expanding the left and right traditional stereo channels to deliver an enveloping 360-degree sound.”
P6 runs with TCL’s TV+ 3.0 operating system and comes pre-installed with Netflix, YouTube among others and ranging from video-on-demand, social, gaming, music, and photo sharing, enabling seamless interaction between TV and mobile devices.
TCL is currently the world’s third largest TV manufacturer and its launch event was attended by numerous famous celebrities, industry experts and foreign dignitaries including the Chief Guest, His Excellency Mr. Long Ding Bin, Consular General, People’s Republic of China to Lahore.
