Samsung released Galaxy S9 and S9+ in Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red Colors

Galaxy S9 and S9+ Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red

Samsung has officially announced the availability of Galaxy S9 and S9+ in two new colors Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red. The South Korean company has already started selling the Burgundy Red variant last week without disclosure.

The two new colors adds striking looks to already stunning Galaxy S9 and S9+. However, it’s worth noting that Samsung’s market share was dropped by 2.4% even after launching the sibling flagships earlier this year, reports IDC.

With the inclusion of two new colors, Galaxy S9 and S9+ will now be available in six different colors – Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue, Lilac Purple and the latest Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red.

If you talk about Sunrise Gold variant, it’s the first time featuring a finish that is dubbed as satin gloss. On the other hand the Burgundy Red will be featuring restrained gloss finish. Following is how Samsung describes the both editions in its own way.

“The Sunrise Gold edition for Galaxy S9 and S9+ is Samsung’s first device to feature a satin gloss finish which wraps the smartphone in a tranquil glow and glimmer. The new Sunrise Gold color creates a feeling of both vibrancy and calm. This sophisticated finish was developed to appeal to all users by bringing a stylistic touch of high fashion and urban interior design to a user’s mobile device. The Burgundy Red edition is one of the deepest red colors available featuring restrained gloss for added density and a look that is contemporary and traditional – perfect for users who appreciate luxurious design.”

Availability

The Burgundy Red edition of Galaxy S9 and S9+ will go on sale starting this month in Korea and China. However, the Sunrise Gold edition will be available in June in select markets – Australia, Chile, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.

Samsung will be releasing the new editions of the S9 and S9+ in other regions soon.
