Already launched in a few other regions, Tecno is now set to bring its very first smartphone with triple-camera system – Camon i4 in Pakistan.
Tecno’s Camon series is known for its photography features that make it par at excellence with any contemporary smart phone series. The newest addition to the Camon series is Camon i4, an emblem of “Capture More Beauty” that bears the resources and powers of all the previous versions added with pinches of more glittering solutions.
Camon i4 is knocking at the door of its launch in Pakistan and Tecno Mobile has already started a pre-launch social media campaign to give customers an insight into this next flag bearer of the Camon Series.
With the campaign, Tecno Mobile has taken Sophiya Anjum – aka RJ Sophie, a famous radio presenter, onboard for “a video documenting the nearly forgotten monuments and beauty.”
Tecno Mobile has called people across the country to capture the un-noticed beauty around them and submit their entries through the hashtag #CaptureMoreBeauty. A lucky draw will choose among them and give an opportunity to be a part of the launch event of Camon i4.
Tecno Camon i4 Key Features
Camon i4 is the first phone in Camon Series and first from the company to feature a triple rear cameras. With a combination of AI cameras with 13MP main, 8MP wide-angle and a 2MP depth sensor, the Camon i4 is supposed to produce matchless stunning imagery. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie shooter too.
Camon i4 also features a 6.2-inch display with Water Drop Notch. Having said that, the trendy Water Drop Notch serves a single purpose with proximity and light Sensors; to house the selfie camera.
Camon i4 will be available in either 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage or 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The 3GB variant packs with MediaTek Helio A22 chipset containing a quad-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, the 4GB variant is powered by Helio P22 octa-core processor. There is another 2GB variant of the phone which is not expected to launch in Pakistan.
The phone will run Android 9.0 Pie and a 3400mAh battery will be powering up the Camon i4 which comes with the some kind of fast charging support dubbed as “Rocket Charging” that will take 2 hours to fully charge the phone.
Pricing and Availability
While the 2GB variant won’t be available in Pakistan, the 3GB and 4GB variants are expected to cost around PKR 21,000 and PKR 25,000. Camon i4 would be available in Aqua Blue, Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, and Nebula Black color options.
Camon i4 is supposed to launch on April 13th and you can pre-book one for yourself. Those who pre-book their devices would also have the opportunity to become part of the launch event where they could witness and experience the phone by hand.
