Huawei will prioritize development and use of Android ecosystem

During the past year, Huawei has achieved a lot globally in its smartphone and telecom business. So much, that the company now stands at the second top position for its smartphone sales. The Chinese tech giant was also just about to launch its commercial 5G services as well as a first 5G handset. But it’s like the existing top powers didn’t want a Chinese firm to reach that place.

Well it’s my own opinion about the recent tussle between US and China. US says otherwise, accusing the tech giant for spying with their network equipment – denied multiple times by the Chinese firm for no evident facts.

But that all brought it to the stage where the Huawei’s consumer business may have impact – Google’s Android license revocation. Huawei didn’t stay quiet and brought full response which should concern its consumers globally.

“Huawei has made substantial contributions to the development and growth of Android around the world. As one of Android’s key global partners, we have worked closely with their open-source platform to develop an ecosystem that has benefited both users and the industry.”

Huawei said that it will continue to provide security updates and after-sales services to all existing Huawei and Honor smartphone and tablet products covering those that have been sold or still in-stock globally.

“We will continue to build a safe and sustainable software ecosystem, in order to provide the best experience for all users globally.”

Huawei will continue to provide security updates and after-sales services to all existing Huawei and Honor smartphone and tablet products, covering those that have been sold and that are still in stock globally.
