OPPO set to launch Reno series in Pakistan soon

OPPO Reno Pakistan

OPPO launched its “Reno” series in April 2019 with three smartphones initially – Reno, Reno 10X Zoom, and Reno 5G. The company is reported to launch the Reno series in Pakistan.

The series that consists of mid-range to high-end models, range from $475 to $890. We believe the company would launch the initial two models in Pakistan – Reno and Reno 10X Zoom. It’s pretty obvious that the Reno 5G has no place in markets where it’s of no use.

Please note that the prices above are only for reference. Prices in Pakistan will be revealed during the launch of the new series.

Update: Reno Z has also joined in as fourth smartphone in the series.

OPPO Reno Features

Reno, the base model, features a 6.40-inch AMOLED display with the resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. Pixel density is approximately 402 ppi (pixels per inch) on the aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

OPPO Reno packs with the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 SoC with 2.2GHz octa-core processor. It comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage.

The phone has dual-camera setup on the back that carries a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture lens and a secondary 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel rising camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens.

Running Android 9.0 Pie and ColorOS 6, the Reno is powered by a 3765 mAh battery and has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It was launched in two colors – Jet Black, Ocean Green.

OPPO Reno 10X Zoom

This phone shares the design structure with the standard Reno, however the Reno 10X zoom is a bit larger with 6.6-inch AMOLED display. In fact resolution also remains the same at FHD+ that means a little less pixel density on this phone.

Reno 10X Zoom also comes with same memory configuration – 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The chip, however, is where it makes the difference. Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC puts this phone on a high-end slab.

As obvious with the model name, the camera part also has a better spec-sheet. Triple rear camera setup consists of a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture lens, a secondary 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture lens, and a third 13MP sensor with 10X telephoto lens.
