Realme has announced the launch date of Realme 3 Pro and Realme C2 in Pakistan. The company will officially launch the two phones in the country on Wednesday May 29, 2019 in Pakistan.
The OPPO sub-brand released the Realme 3 (review) smartphone last month which took many for interest. The company, however, had launched the Realme 3 Pro in neighboring country later last month, it is now launching the phone in Pakistan.
The Realme 3 Pro is the successor to Realme 2 Pro (review) which the company launched in Pakistan earlier this year as their first smartphone in the country. The 2 Pro was accompanied with the budget Realme C1 (review). So this time, the company has planned to launch the Realme C2 along with the Realme 3 Pro next week.
The Realme 3 Pro sports a FHD+ (2340×1080) Dewdrop display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, up to 400 nits of brightness and a screen-to-body ratio of over 90 per cent. It is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset paired with Adreno 616 GPU.
The 3 Pro comes in three memory configurations – 4GB RAM variant with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM variant with 64GB or 128GB internal storage. The phone offers a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
On the back, the phone has a dual-camera setup with a primary 16-megapixel f/1.7 Sony IMX519 primary sensor and a secondary 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a a 25-megapixel AI selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Realme 3 Pro runs ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie and packs with a 4,045mAh battery with 20-watt fast charging (VOOC 3.0).
The Realme C2 features a 6.1 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of HD+ (1570 x 720 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The phone comes with a Plastic body with Gorilla Glass 3 on front.
Realme C2 houses a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset and comes in two memory configurations – 2GB RAM variant with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM variant with 32GB internal storage. Memory can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
The phone sports a dual camera setup of 13MP + 2MP with LED while offering a 5MP on front. It runs on ColorOS 6.0 Lite based an Android 9 Pie and is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual SIM, Wi-Fi b/g/n. Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, FM Radio, microUSB and a 3.5 mm jack.
There is yet no clue about the pricing in Pakistan, however it’s expected that the Realme 3 Pro will start selling from around PKR 32,000 for 4GB+64GB model. 6GB RAM variant with 64GB and 128GB storage may cost around PKR 35,000 and around PKR 38,000.
The Realme C1 on the other hand, may cost around PKR 14,000 for the 2GB+16GB model and around PKR 18,000 for 3GB+32GB model.
Availability is expected to be similar to what we have seen previously from the brand. The Realme 3 Pro and Realme C2 will first be available online and may come with discounted flash sale offer. Afterwards, probably a month later, all or a few of the models may be available from offline stores.
