OPPO Reno Series to launch tomorrow in Pakistan – Which Reno models are expected?

OPPO has decided to to launch its new series Reno in Pakistan this summer but really at a cool venue of Murree. OPPO will announce the availability of the new OPPO Reno series in the country tomorrow Thursday, June 13rd, 2019.

If you missed it earlier, OPPO already had plans to launch its new Reno series in Pakistan but the company didn’t reveal anything about when and where. The company recently sent out the formal invitation for the launch event.

OPPO unveiled the Oppo Reno, Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition, and Oppo Reno 5G in China in April, later followed by India with two variants except 5G one. The big highlight of the three phones was the futuristic pop-up selfie camera. That’s a side-swing camera module which is said to spin out in 0.8 seconds. The module also includes the earpiece, the front soft light and rear LED flash.

Standard OPPO Reno sports a 6.4-inch screen with display resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 with a 2.2GHz octa-core, it comes with 6 Gigs or 8 Gigs of RAM and 3,765 mAh battery. The Reno also equips with a 48MP+5MP dual-camera setup on the back. With 128GB/256GB of storage, the standard Reno does not support expandable memory option via microSD card.

Reno 10x Zoom edition is a high-end contender with a bit larger screen and Snapdragon 855 processor. The phone also comes with 6 or 8 Gigs of RAM. As the name suggests, the Zoom edition comes with a power pack of triple-camera setup 48MP+13MP+8MP where the 13MP has telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom (or 130mm) and the 8MP camera has an ultra-wide angle lens. The whole setup provides up to 2x optical zoom, 6x to 10x hybrid zoom and then up to 60x digital zoom.

Reno Prices and Availability in Pakistan

Well, the OPPO Reno 5G is not coming to Pakistan anytime soon because there is provider offering 5G in the country. Expect Reno and Reno 10X Zoom right now but there is also a lite model of Reno, dubbed as Reno Z. You may also expect that but that’s too early for the model to reach here.

We still don’t have official prices on hand, but here are the estimated ones considering the prices in other markets.

• OPPO Reno: $475 (PKR ~70,000)
• Reno 10X Zoom: $575 (PKR ~120,000)
