Vivo Pakistan is teasing with what looks like a new S-Series

Vivo S-Series in Pakistan

Vivo seems to be launching a new S-series of smartphones soon. In news from other regions, it looks like a new S-series that the company is actively teasing about in Malaysia and Indonesia now adds Pakistan in line.

Vivo Pakistan has now started teasing with the similar tag lines and a question asking its fan base “Take a guess. What is S?” While the audience also seems to be well aware of it being a new smartphone series, the company has not yet revealed any specifics about it.

Do not consider it to be relevant with Vivo S1 that was recently launched in China as a rebranded model of Vivo V15 (review). It’s normal about Vivo as it usually makes changes in the model names across regions.

Figuring where the new S-series will lie among the existing line up of Vivo is not easy. Currently Vivo is offering only V and the Y-series smartphones in Pakistan. The V-series is mid-range costing somewhere between Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 60,000. The Y-series, on the other hand, ranges from Rs. 18000 to 40,000.

The new S-series is believed to be on the lower end offering better features. It’s also possible to be derivative of both V and the Y-series offering diverse features from both the lineups. What’s most obvious is that at least an initial model will feature a dew-drop notch – see the featured image above.
